Looking forward to the crisp air this weekend!

Let Autumn begin!

Desire. Contentment. Happiness. Being human. xoxo

Happiness
To be without desire is to be content.
But contentment is not happiness.
And in contentment there is no progress.
Happiness is to desire something, to work for it, and to obtain at least a part of it.
In the pursuit of beloved labor the busy days pass cheerfully employed, and still nights in peaceful sleep.
For labor born of desire is not drudgery, but manly play.
Success brings hope, hope inspires fresh desire, and desire gives zest to life and joy to labor.
This is true whether your days be spent in the palaces of the powerful or in some little green by-way of the world.
Therefore, while yet you have the strength, cherish a desire to do some useful work in your little corner of the world, and have the steadfastness to labor.
For this is the way to the happy life; with health and endearing ties, it is the way to the glorious life.

Candy baby!

I have always been drawn to the pastel colors of this candy.  Especially the
gray/purple one.  For those who are new with Necco ( around since 1847!),
the best way to eat them is to let them sit out uncovered for a day or two so
they get soft.  Yum!   Thanks Grandmom for introducing them to me!

I share mostly, but not my Necco candy!

Doing my chores, I found...

.... lovely light behind my freshly cleaned pink slip.  Heart pounding for me.  I know... I'm weird.

A hidden magical world...

I woke up on my birthday this Monday to walk my doggie, and I was blessed
to discover this magical, mystical mushroom.
It reminded me of when I was a little girl laying in my backyard grass
surrounded by mushrooms and buttercups daydreaming of the possibilities.
Of my prince (Scott Baio), horses and ball gowns. I had such a strong imagination.

God gave this mushroom sighting as a birthday present.
To remind me to take time to let my imagination go wild again.
To never give up on the possibilities of my hearts desires.
(I did kiss Scott Baio in 7th grade at the car show in Philadelphia)
I learned to ride a horse named Montana.
And I modeled gowns for Bridal shops.)
I guess I should have been more specific with my wishes. Lol.
Anyway, give a little daydreaming a try.

more things I love ...

Still working on my brand. Getting closer to my style. I really never thought about it
until I started my photography business and my mentors advised me to create my
brand. I was like... "huh? well how do you do that?" This is where I started. To be
familiar with my tastes and desires and what I lean towards. LIke, I realize I LOVE the
color gray, stainless steel, and fluffy things.

"things" I love!!

I have been thinking a lot lately about my "brand" for
my photography. And I think the best way to find your
brand/style is to create an image board of the things
you love and desire. I created my first of many to come.
There are so many "things" that I use and desire in my
daily life. Welcome to my journey of finding my style!
